Organizers:
Introduction: “Gib was VP of Product at Netflix starting in 2005. In 2010, he became the CPO of Chegg, a textbook rental and homework help company that went public in 2014. Today, Gib is a teacher, speaker, writer, and adviser.”
I do not plan to do Q and A, as it’s a short timeframe.
I prefer a wearable microphone and a monitor that mirrors my slides. I do not use any notes. Helpful if there’s water for me to drink within reach.
I use Google Slides for my presentation. In a separate email I provide a link. While I prefer to present from my machine and it’s helpful to have a reliable internet connection, it’s straightforward to make the Google Slides available offline by accessing the “Edit” menu, then “Make Available Offline” and the presentation will be playable without internet. (You may need to ask me for permission within Google Slides to access this feature.) If we’re not using live internet, it’s good to make the presentation available on the machine in the last hour before the presentation as I make edits until that time.
If it’s fine to use my own machine, I have a dongle for the HDMI cable and clicker. I also have a dongle for a dedicated internet connection, if available.
My presentation does not have audio or video.
